General Instructions:

  1. The timer displayed at the top-right corner of the screen indicates the time remaining for the exam. When the timer reaches zero, the test will automatically conclude. No manual submission is needed.
  2. The Question Palette on the right of your screen uses various symbols to represent the status of each question:
    You have not visited the question.
    You have not answered the question.
    You have answered the question.
    You have marked the question for review.

    3. Questions marked for review will still be evaluated if answered, unless modified by the candidate before submission.

  3. Navigating Between Questions:
    • Click on a question number in the Question Palette to directly access that question. Be mindful that this action does not save responses to the current question.
    • Use the "Save & Next" button to save your response for the current question and move to the next.
    • If you wish to revisit a question after answering, click "Mark for Review & Next." This will save your response, flag the question, and proceed to the next one.
    • 1. Navigating Questions:
      - If you move to another question without saving, your answer for the current one will not be recorded.
      - Use the "Question Paper" button to view all questions at once.
    • 2. Answering Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ):
      - Click the bubble beside your preferred option (A, B, C, D) to select your answer.
      - To remove your selection, click the same option again or use the "Clear Response" button.
      - Changing your answer is simple—just select a different option.
      - Click "Save & Next" to ensure your response is recorded.
    • 3. Answering Numeric Entry Questions:
      - Use the on-screen keypad to input your response.
      - Fractions can be entered as `.3` or `-0.3`, allowing up to four decimal places (e.g., `12.5435`, `0.003`).
      - To erase your input, use "Clear Response".
      - Click "Save & Next" to store your answer.
    • 4. Marking a Question for Review:
      - Click "Mark for Review & Next" if you want to revisit a question later.
      - If a response is provided for an MCQ or numeric question, it will be considered valid unless modified before submission.
    • 5. Modifying Your Response:
      - To update an answer already provided, navigate back to the question and follow the original answering steps.
      - Ensure the modified answer is saved before proceeding.
    • 6. Answer Evaluation Criteria:
      - Only responses that are saved or marked for review will be considered in the final evaluation.
      - Unsaved answers will not be counted.
    • 7. Section Navigation:
      - The question paper is divided into sections, visible at the top navigation bar.
      - Click on a section name to switch between them—the active section is highlighted.
      - Hovering over a section name displays the answering status for that section.
    • 8. Moving Between Sections:
      - Upon submitting the last question in a section using Save & Next, the system will automatically take you to the first question of the next section.
